We can see the total solar eclipse in Easter island on July 11, 2010. It will be an exciting experience to watch the black sun and colona with Moai. MiC PARIS carries out the eclipse project from Japan.

Annular Solar Eclipse on Jan. 15, 2010

The annular solar eclipse was observed on Jan. 15, 2010 from the area of Africa and Asia. We can't see the eclipse from Japan. However the partial solar eclipse was seen during sunset from east part of Japan
